Ramadhan Mubarak! #Day2

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Salam Ramadhan! Ramadhan Kareem! Ramadhan Mubarak! :D
Today is the second day we are in the holy month of Ramadhan..Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah for giving us to live another day in this month and may Allah give us the chance to go through until the end of Ramadhan.

Last Ramadhan may not be 'religious' enough for us but this year we have an opportunity to change that so let's grab this chance as it may be our final one. May this Ramadhan be the 'stepping point' for us in the process of being a better Muslim.

اللهُمَّ سَلِّمنِي لِرَمَضَانَ وَسَلِّم رَمَضَانَ لِي وَسَلِّمهُ لِي مُتَقَبَّلاً

“Oh Allah! Safeguard me for the Month of Ramadhan (by making me see the Month of Ramadhan healthy and fit so that I can take maximum benefit from it),
and safeguard the Month of Ramadhan for me (by making the conditions in it such that I can take maximum benefit from it) and accept it from me.”

(Kanz-ul-Ummal, Vol. 8, Pg. 548, Hadith 24277)

Let's Go! Langkawi and Penang Trip Day 1 #Part1

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

On 22nd June 2014 which is last Saturday, my family (mertua) and I went to Langkawi for a short trip since last week was the final week before Ramadhan and because my mother-in-law wish to bring my brother-in-law who is currently having a summer break. However, we went there separately since my husband and I wish to continue from Langkawi to Penang so we drive to Kuala Kedah. It took us about 6 hours to reach Jeti Kuala Kedah from Seremban, my hometown including a short stop at R&R for Subuh and breakfast at a speed of 140km/hour :p

Once entering the main road of Kuala Kedah, lots of 'agent' (pak cik pak cik riding motorcycle) knocking on your window to ask where would you like to go and trying hard to persuade you to follow them. Well as for us, we park exactly opposite to the Jeti where there is a limited parking lot with price of RM15 per night. It is gated and guarded and insyaAllah safe. But in order for you to park there, make sure to come early because when we arrived at 11 a.m, there is only one left and already booked. But it doesn't mean you can't follow and park at those pak cik's places it is just that I heard they might putar belit on the price you need to pay and it is a bit hassle since you need them to take and fetch you to and from the Jeti later on.

The journey continues with 1 hour 30 minutes in ferry heading to Pulau Langkawi. Make sure to catch the ferry on time as the next ferry will only be in another an hour and half. The ticket price for adult is RM23 one way/sehala and so we paid RM46 just for the two of us. For more information on the ferry fares and places please visit:

Upon arrival you will then again be approached by pak cik pak cik but this time for car rental. Since our family consist of 7 family members, Toyota Avanza 2.0 has been picked and cost us RM100 per night. Ensure to check the car condition before you take the car and taking pictures of it is not a bad idea after all because our car has been stopped by police since one of the light is broken. Luckily the saman goes to the owner of the car and we have pictures to prove we are 'clean' :p Well anyway, down here is the list of price for your reference:

It is nice to go for a holiday once in a while and we as Muslim are encouraged to explore Allah's world to see for ourselves His greatest creation and be grateful upon His mercy. And since Islam is not to burden us, there's rukhsah to be followed, visit this website for more detail info on solat jamak qasar:

"Dialah yang menjadikan bumi untuk kamu yang mudah dijelajahi, maka jelajahilah di segala penjurunya dan makanlah sebahagian daripada rezekiNya. Dan hanya kepadaNyalah kamu (kembali setelah) dibangkitkan."

Kursus Kahwin. B2B Seremban #2

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

On the previous entry we are done with the checklist and so lets proceed with no.1 thing which is attending kursus kahwin. I did (well maybe not exactly me who did it...more likely it is my husband who did lalalala) the searching for few places to attend the kursus kahwin. First criteria should be, [1] near to reach. I was actually living somewhere near PJ during that time so good thing about it is that KL have many of Musollah/masjid helding the kursus kahwin. However, if you are in some other places other than KL then just google ehee.

So second criteria is [2] price. For your information, the standard price would be RM 80 per person as it includes foods and certificates. Well if you have tight budget, then you can get a lower price at RM 60 if the kursus kahwin is held in university. But if you are an outsider, how are you suppose to know when the kursus kahwin will be held in university, right? Again...google the exact university which you would like to attend the kursus. And if you prefer to attend it outside but at slightly lower price, attend it during Ramadhan. No food means cheaper fees RM 70 jimat lah jadinya.

So my hubby and I attended Kursus Perkahwinan Taman Tun Dr Ismail which was held in Masjid At-Taqwa TTDI. There is actually a seminar room dedicated for the kursus and it is totally comfortable. Plus the foods were nice and since it is in masjid so when its time to pray, easy! The organizer is friendly and am really happy with their service as the certificate can be obtained as soon as 1 week time! And believe me, there are some places who give out the certificate lama gila until you have to chase them for the cert so remember you need a place that [3] do not hold on to your cert. One more important criteria would be [4] penceramah tak membosankan! And yes, semua penceramah tidak membosankan malah menghiburkan sambil berinformatif. So it is easier to catch what they are trying to say. Well for more information on this kursus kahwin at TTDI I attended, please visit

Or you can also directly register online

Selain dari e-borang. Tempahan Kursus juga boleh dibuat melalui telefon/SMS. And during my time I just emailed the organizer and that's it, it is booked! Plus a reminder will be sent to you a day before the kursus being held so that you wouldn't forget, how nice is that huh? And by the way, I do not get anything from reviewing/promoting this place. It is just that good things are to be shared :)

Checklist. B2B Seremban #1

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Early this year I've changed my status from Cik to Puan, sound pretty weird and awkward at first but after almost 6 months I'm used to it and proud of it hehe Alhamdulillah. And as I were preparing myself for the wedding, I found it very hard to find any source of information from blogger.

I thought to myself kalau cari sendiri sure banyak tempat nak kena survey tapi kalau through blog, sure ada 'testimoni' dari mereka yang pernah menggunakan perkhidmatan that particular place. But unfortunately, the source is terhad especially for bride in Seremban. So here I am now to give my own 'testimoni' to B2B from Seremban out there with the hope that if not much, but at least I can still help all of you yang kini sedang melalui saat saat stress (well tell me about it huh).

So first of all, let us talk about things/checklist to do. Down here is one of the example (taken from google) of checklist you can do. Well actually if you just google search the word checklist kahwin sure there are plenty of them for you to use as reference. In anything you would like to do, it is the best if you plan first so that it won't get messy and serabut when time is no longer on your side.

Dah nak kahwin tapi belum siap borang kebenaran nikah luar kawasan (err borang whaaaat??) It is not only about time, more importantly it is about money! And trust me, no planning means you have a high potential to be over budget and then lastly gaduh with your partner. Wedding is a happy things, lets just not make it the other way around okay B2B.

And as a faithful Muslim, always remember not to spend too much on the wedding day itself. Be wise in spending/planning dear Muslimah and lets remain the wedding as a barakah day of your new life.

“Berikanlah kepada kaum-kerabat haknya masing-masing dan kepada orang miskin dan orang musafir dan jangalah engkau membazir (boros) dengan melampau." [al-Isra' ayat 26]

Masa. Waktu. Time.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Years have passed
And I myself could never believe that
Everything that happened seems like yesterday
But yesterday that filled with shadows
And thus, I promised myself
Not to look back and to let the past to be my greatest lessons
In to be a better Muslim
A wiser Muslimah
For I now am seeking for the greatest love of all
Love from the Creator of love itself
As upon the mercy from Him that I am still here today
The lovable and forgiving Allah s.w.t

Time is more than Gold. Time is my life. And my life is getting shorter every single second that passed. (Ain, 2014)

"By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience." [Al-Asr 103]
