Magaadd 3 Series!! 8 Sebab Best Turning 30s

Assalamualaikum and happy new year!

Tak berapa nak new sangat la kan. It is already day 28/365 dah punnnn.. Ini pun sebab azam hujung tahun 2017 itu lah digigihkan jua diri menulis haha.

Coming to the year of 2018 it means semua yang lahir pada tahun 1988 akan turning to 3 series.. NOOOO!!! How can I be old so fast! In denial actually but at the same time I'm gonna embrace it like a strong lady (kiss muscle)! Bring it on 30!

 The thing is, what with the 3 series yang orang takut sangat nak masuk tu. Like seriously bila masuk 30s tu maksudnya dah tua sangat ke? You know what? Sempena new year, I must have a new way of thinking, positive one a MUST! So here are some cool facts about 30s instead..

8 Sebab BEST Turning 30s

1. For ladies, we own a mind of a wise woman who able to control our own lives but body of a girl even for young moms like myself!
2. At the age of 30s ramai yang akan mencapai tahap 'stabil' dalam kehidupan. Dari segi kewangan comparing to 20s dan juga kehidupan. 
3. We are happy with what we have and responsibility level masih boleh handle. Midlife crisis gonna wait at 40s and 50s!
4. Freedom as it best peak! Dengan duit yang reasonably cukup dan family sendiri yang belum terlalu besar so bolehlah holiday or backpacking 
5. People take us MORE seriously sebab obviously I am older and wiser. 
6. Umur 30 ke 39 anda (yes anda sebab saya stay-at-home ibu) berada di kemuncak career sebab dah jumpa kerjaya pilihan and no more being a rookie. Hello to naik gaji!
7. Studies said at 30s personality won't change much as compared to childhood to 20s. So say bubye to mood swing and ola positive vibes!
8. Lastly, we have another 10 tahun lagi sebelum turning 40s and 40 tahun..wooo that is old..

So there's no reason to be afraid of  being 30s.. kannnn.. Except we are getting old, day by day huhu. Anyhow, let's grow old gracefully dan yang paling penting let's just live life to the fullest sebab kita belum tentu dapat merasa tua. Like betul-betul TUA..               

Till then, 30s peeps rock!

Maya Apartment Bay View Villas, Port Dickson: Review (Kotor!)

Every year without failed, inshaAllah family side husband akan ada event Family Day and this year alhamdulillah dah berlangsung dari Jumaat lepas till Isnin. Since Christmas on Monday so cuti panjang tak perlu additional cuti.

For third year in a row it was held in Port Dickson, which hopefully next year bolehlah nak berubah angin ke different venue plak haha. Anyway in this post nak share accommodation kami kt sana. Family kami ramai so perlukan at least 6 apartments and sebab last minute booking not much pun yang available.

After melihat sendiri keadaan Maya Apartment Bay View Villas, now it was obvious kenapa banyak je apartment yang available padahal peak weekend. 

Kami stay at 2 bedrooms apartment Blok A-7-03 at this how it looks like..

Old school furniture dengan langsir yang dah tercabut or pasang tak siap kot tapi at least ada Njoi provided. The kitchen was big tapi macam orang renovate rumah main tinggal all the stuffs. Siap ada tin cat, tangga, lampu dah terbakar ke apa ntah..

The worst thing of all definitely the fridge. Tak pernah lagi dalam hidup jumpa kulat dalam fridge punya freezer di apartment yang disewakan kt orang. Kesan hitam tu after dah lap kulat tuu.. Patut ambil gambar before lap because it was surely gross, cendawan hitam-hitam tumbuh dengan sihatnya.. magadd!!

The room was as old school as the hall with that nenek punya cadar dan selimut ntah abad bila lah kan, with NO kipas, NO cermin dan tepi katil yang sangat berhabuk. Aarfan lost the aircond (20 tahun punya aircond alhamdulillah still function) so hubs looked under the bed, siap boleh jumpa kopiah! Gila KOTOR!

Toilet was not any better, with no hot water or heater.. tu takpe lagi.. Toilet bowl yang kuning kotor and surely disgusting. Tak ada langsung tempat untuk gantung towel or baju but they provide us with mop, sabun basuh hashtag me being sarcastic.

The master bedroom okaylah sikit, part cadar not so nenek tapi the rest all the same. There was en suit bathroom attached to it and luckily ada heater yang masih berfungsi.

The ONLY good thing I can say about this apartment.. well, the ok view from the balcony that facing the swimming pool dan boleh juga nampak laut sikit. Seterika pun ada disediakan tapi not sure function ke tak sebab I used my own.

But again, it is unfair to generalized semua apartment teruk since it depends on the owner. My mother-in-law punya 3 bedrooms apartment was not this bad. Furniture dari IKEA and the apartment itself  facing laut with such a breathtaking view subhanAllah.. TAPI fridge still KOTOR.

Meanwhile, the rest of the apartments lain yang kami sewa most of it families complained. Ada yang NO kipas, ada NO aircond, fridge kotor, kettle rosak so boleh disimpulkan this place is horrible. For me, it is okay to be old school but not so cool to be kotor.

From ibu and Aarfan, find other place to stay unless you don't mind semua ni. Until then, assalamualaikum! 

Big Bad Wolf 2017: Books Fair Murah Gila

Assalamualaikum

Yesterday's midnight marks the end of this year's Big Bad Wolf 2017 dan kali ni berjaya pergi dua kali sebab first time tu Aarfan meragam tak nak tidur dan second time barulah dapat shopping.. sekejap. This year rasanya Big Bad Wolf provide a bigger section for children's books tapi cloth book dan touch & feel book kurang or maybe tak jumpa sebab sempat jalan about an hour je.

Even at midnight still kena queue untuk snap picture kat sini sebab forever ramai crowd unless it is midnight on weekdays. Parking under the exhibition hall pun lebih murah RM3 Mon - Fri dan RM5 Sat - Sun per entry.

This time around BBW sediakan troli kecil so senang letak buku dan anak-anak which I think is brilliant. First dulu they provide box then basket ada roda tu and finally now a mini troli so improvement la every time, great! 

 

Since Aarfan suka hisap buku so mostly memang sekejap je dah koyak and no other choice but to buy board book sebab tebal so hisap kemam lah berapa lama pun for sure tak lunyai, at least will take years la kot haha.

The books selection varies from babies, toddler, children, teenagers to adults and even grown men so it is definitely a paradise for all books lover! Harga way cheaper dan boleh jimat dalam at least RM10 okay so mostly parents will come here dan beli buku stok setahun untuk anak-anak.

We need at least 2 hours to just browse through all sections tapi this year Aarfan ada so sempat sejam je pergi randomly belek section children. Now that's the best part of it, bukan setakat boleh belek, boleh duduk baca sambil kalau lapar or dahaga there's even small cafe there.

Honestly speaking, hubs and me bukan book lovers tapi sejak BBW wujud few years back, we bought so many books dan even dah setahun tak habis lagi baca haha. Now all those books aarfan suka sepahkan and this picture down here just sikit dari total books we bought from BBW. 

 Anyway, can't wait for next year's BBW cause Aarfan will be 1 year plus so hopefully dah ada character or books preference. Well until then, tata dari ibu dan Aarfan!
